With a rich legacy of history and a team of fresh, active and enthusiastic teachers, the department aims to bring in future more enthusiasm for innovative class room teaching, active teacher-student interaction, organize departmental national and student seminars and build up a specialized and well-stocked seminar library. Of late, a project of maintaining a good collection of historical maps and other history related TLM have been launched by the department. We encourage of bringing student’s historical perspective for understanding the rich cultural heritage of India. Lastly, teaching with utmost sincerity is our priority.
