BARJORA COLLEGE

The Bengali Department of Barjora College was established in 1996 and has developed into a full-fledged under graduate dept with 500-1000 seats. The Department has six faculty members who are all engaged in serious research works apart from regular academic activities. The department houses a small seminar library. Besides academic activities seminars and conferences are organized at regular intervals along with other teaching learning programs. The Department is already in the process open regular PG course in Bengali. The college runs Netaji University Study Centre where post-graduation in Bengali is taught.
