ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE AND RULES OF CONDUCT 

 

  • Students must attend their respective classes regularly and punctually. They will have to attend at least 75% of total classes taken in each subject. Students having 60% attendance in classes of each subject shall be deemed non-collegiate. Such non- collegiate students may be allowed to appear in the University Examination on payment of a prescribed fee for the same. If the attendance of any student in a session is below 50%, he or she will not be allowed to sit for the University Final Examination.
  • Maintenance of discipline is compulsory for all. They should behave politely within the class or campus for preserving the same atmosphere of the college.
  • Without permission no student is allowed to enter the College office, Library office, Principal’s chamber and the Staff room.
  •  Students must appear at the internal assessment/class Test and Test Examination (compulsory)
  • No Chaotic or unruly behavior will be allowed inside the college campus/class rooms which will be treated as break of peace and will invite stern measures.
  • Students should actively participate in different seminars, workshops and social functions conducted by the college.
  • Students should co-operate with the Principal, Teachers, Office staff for smooth functioning of the college.
  • Students who have complaints/grievances may seek redressal in black and white through the ‘Complaint Box’ installed in the college, or orally to the Principal in his fixed time.However, any baseless allegation or grievance of any sort is liable to punishment.
  • Every student must abide by the rules and regulations of the college

 

College Evaluation system & University Evaluation system:

The college conducts a number of class Tests throughout the year. All enrolled students are required to sit for the Tests. Besides, the 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year students are required to appear and pass at the Test Examinations, Part-I, Part-II & Part-III respectively. Class Test Marks will be added to the Test Examination.

Students Union: The students Union is the elected forum of the students. All enrolled students are considered ordinary members of the Union. The Principal of the college is the ex-officio President of the same. Every year Election is held as per the Students Union Act of B.U. and the students Union plays as significant role for smooth running of the college.

Seminars: Seminars and discussions are organized by the college from time to time for the benefit of the students.

Counselling : Our college provides necessary counseling for future career enhancement.

Library : Having library card is mandatory for all students. Cards will be issued after admission.
